Dear family and friends,
This week we have just recieved some news about transfers, I will be staying in Junín and becoming a district leader and my new companion will be Elder Alvarez from Mendoza in Argentina! I hope my spanish is on point! I´m also a little nervous about becoming a district leader because it is the first time so we will have to see how it will turn out! It has been a fun 6 weeks though this last transfer! Hopefully I will have some time to be able to go fish more this next transfer too! Hahaha! We have been working pretty hard though and we are going to be organizing a talent show that we are going to try and invite a lot of people to that is coming up in November so hopefully we can invite lots of people and have some success with that. We traveled today from Junín to get to the mission offices here in Ramos Mejía. It was about a 3 hour trip way faster than the last time we went out to Junín! It has been a ton of fun to be out in campo (Country) though! It is way pretty, we will hopefully get some baptisms lined up though. We work in a branch so it is really small and I have the opportunity to bless the sacrament every week. It is a great experience and it always is a honor to be able to do it. The sacrament really is awesome and to think about how much the savior has done for each and every one of us. I was stressing out a little bit with recieving news that I would be a district leader and recieving someone who has less time than me. When I was in sacrament meeting though I felt peace and my nervousness went away. It really is awesome how much our Savior comforts us in moments of stress. He really is a blessing! I´m grateful for everything he did for us! Anyways this is all the news of the transfers and everything that will happen here in the next week. Can´t wait to see how it will turn out! Love you all thanks for writing and it definetly is a joy to be able to write everyone every week! I hope all of you have an awesome week!

This week has gone by so fast I can´t believe it´s has really been over a year that I opened up my call letter that said I was going to Buenos Aires Argentina! I remeber wondering where I was going to be in the next year of my life when I opened it. Honestly it felt like it was such a long time away but now that it is here it really has flown by really fast. It seemed like just yesterday I was preparing to leave on my mission and honestly it still feels like I just barely got here. It´s amazing that 8 months have already passed by and I am now in my third area speaking spanish which is something I never thought I would ever do in my life. This last week has flown by we have been working pretty hard, we have been trying to knock on a lot of doors and trying to talk to as many people as we can. We are finding some new people to teach but it is still early and we don´t know for sure how many are going to be progressing. We got some more traveling to do this week.  we are going back to the town of Chivilcoy to do interviews with President Resek, and when we come back the zone leaders of our zone are going to come with us and do divisions. So it will be a fun and different week for this last week before the transfer. We are a little anxious to see what is going to happen for this upcoming transfer and we have no idea what is going to happen. Elder Jacobson my companion thinks we are both going to stay in the area for another transfer together. He also thinks it is possible that President Resek will bring in two more missionaries and divide the area that we are in. It would be a ton of fun to work with two other missionaries but we will just have to wait and see what will happen. The last week of a transfer is always a little exciting because you just don´t know what will happen. This area has been pretty fun to work in and I´ve enjoyed it. I feel like I have learned so many new things and have really grown as a missionary. I´ve learned so much this transfer from teaching skills and being able to comunicate with people not sure if it´s because I´m understanding the language better or what but I have learned a lot as far as being a missionary and planning especially. Until next week it is a joy to be able to write every week and share my experiences of everything I am learning. Can´t wait to chat more next week! Love you all and have an awesome week!

9-11-2017

Queridos familiares y amigos,
This week has been a good week we were able to have the chance to be able to not use our bikes the last few days and just walk to contact people more. It is funny everyone thinks we are Jehova´s witnesses or evangelists and then we tell them we are mormons and some people are like ¨What is that?¨ ¨ Well let us give you this book and we will tell you what it means to be a mormon!¨ I have gotten so much better at knocking on a door and being able to tell someone about the gospel. I remember in my first area in Padua I was scared to death to do it! Now I feel so much more comfortable to do it and it really is crazy how much you change in 7 months!
I´ve learned a lot this week in my personal studies from reading the end chapters in the Book of Mormon chapters 7-10. Chapter 7 talks a lot about the light of Christ and how we have that guide along with the spirit to help us to know what is right. Really anything that brings good or makes you feel good inside is of God. Sometimes we can be a little confused about things in the world that we can mistake as either being from God or of satan. Really though if what we do or what we want to do inspires us to do good continually or brings the fruits of the Spirit which are peace, joy and tranquility it is of God. Sometimes we feel we have to have the Spirit confirm our every course of action we take in this life. The Spirit can help confirm to us what we should do but the Spirit brings happiness and peace to our hearts. If we can remember that with everything we do in this life we will always be able to know which things are good and which are bad. Any feeling of uneasiness or doubt is not of God and is from another source. Always remember to look for the things that bring happiness and peace into your life. I also love in chapter 9 verse 6 of Moroni how Mormon is talking about always continuing to labor continually. Even though the world may be in chaos and there are bad things that happen in the world doesn´t mean we should say all is lost and stop trying to be good people. Sometimes it is hard but as we continually try to improve and learn in the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Lord will bless us with the strength to carry on. He will also give us knowledge that we so desperately need to progress and grow. I know this gospel is true and that God loves us and wants us to progress, grow and one day recieve the blessings of eternal life with our families. I love you all and am so grateful for your support and love it really is a blessing in my life to have people that love me so much. Really man was never meant to be alone, we were made to grow with eachother and learn from eachother and that is why families are so important. Love you all! Love talking to everyone every monday! It recharges my batteries! Can´t wait to talk again next week and I hope everyone has a great week!

Sept. 4, 2017

Hola queridos familiares y amigos,
This week has flown by so fast I can´t believe it is already September! It seemed like just yesterday August started and now we are heading into the Spring-Fall time of the year depending on where you are at. This last week we have been working really hard though, we have been visiting as many people as possible trying to find less actives and working to find new investigators to start teaching. We have found a lot of people this last week to teach, some have been taught by missionaries before but hopefully they will progress a little bit faster than they were before. This last tuesday we rode on a bus for two hours to get to another town called Bragado. There was a meeting there for all the leaders in the zone and we had to go because Elder Jacobson is the district leader. The ride was really neat on the way back home, there was a lot of farm land and wide open country with cattle and horses. It kind of reminded me of Utah a little bit except there are absolutely no mountains or hills so everything is totally flat. It was way neat though to be able to see all the wide open country and see something a little bit different. As far as the rest of the week it was just business as usual and we just were working throughout the whole week. We have been able to kick start the area a little bit and now we are finding some more people to teach. We don´t know how well some of these people will progress towards baptism but we are definetly finding a huge pool of new investigators that wasn´t there before. It´s exciting! I hope we will be able to see some really awesome results by the end of the month or this transfer. I can´t believe how fast the transfer has flown by we are already halfway over! It feels really small compared to the last transfer that was 9 weeks long! It doesn´t even feel like I have been here for 3 weeks it feels like I´ve been here for a few days honestly. I guess it means I´m staying fairly busy. haha. Anyways as far as the rest of the week there really isn´t too much to talk about, we have a zone conference in a town called Chivilcoy this thursday so that is something that is coming up in the week. We are going to take a 2 to 3 hour bus ride to get to it and then head back. Lunch will be provided so that is a real plus! For once we don´t have to cook this thursday! haha! That is what is coming up for this week though and other than that it is looking like another week of hard work. The area is really fun there is a lot of stuff to do on p-days and there are restaurants to go eat at and do all sorts of different stuff that I couldn´t do in my other areas so it has been really fun to be out in this city for these last three weeks. It is fun to see all these different areas, it is almost like an adventure and you never know where you are going to be in 2 months ahead. You could be fishing one day and then riding your bike on a cobblestone road, or be riding on dirt roads in the country. It is cool to see these different areas and apply things you have learned from your old areas to your new areas and have different comps to learn from and teach with. It has been a great joy to be a missionary though and be in the service of the Lord and the time really has been wonderful to be out here.

This is all I have to write for this week, love you all and thanks for the letters of encouragement and support! Love talking to you all and can´t wait to talk more next week!
